MAX – where music lives – in partnership with Tropfest, the world's largest short film festival, is thrilled to unveil an amazing new national competition where film and music come together like never before. Welcome to MAX TROPSCORE where YOU make the music!
The objective of MAX TROPSCORE is simple – produce a musical score or synch for a 3-minute short film provided by Tropfest. The winning artist or band get the chance to perform their Score live on stage at the Movie Extra Tropfest 2009 festival to a national audience of more than 150,000 people across 7 capital cities.
Are you the next John Williams or Ennio Morricone? Think you're better than Nick Cave or Josh Pyke? Then it's time to show all of Australia what your soundtrack is made of. Enter MAX TROPSCORE for your chance to become the next big thing in the movie music biz.
